What are you capable of?

SOMETIMES, it's not all about the money.

Yup, I said it.

But, truly if you think you don't NEED money then you are not living in the same world I am.

Let's pretend money doesn't exist.

If you could choose to do ANYTHING in this world, what would it be?

Maybe it's hiking or traveling.

Maybe you want to study insects but you never got a degree in entomology.

Maybe you want to lead a co-op.

Maybe you want to help fight addiction.

Maybe you want to sell houses.

Maybe you want to sell your jewelry designs.

I thought about this question over and over and over and over until I decided to build my first business around my life, which included young kids and being pregnant.

YOU CAN DO THIS TOO!

Does it mean the business might fail? Yes.

Does it mean the business might succeed? Also yes.

Will it be easy? Probably not.

Will it be a lot of work? That's your decision.

Everything is what we make of it.

I truly want you to think about what lights you up.

Do you have a passion for baking? Or maybe you love experimenting with your morning coffee . . . excuse me for assuming you probably drink coffee.

What are you already good at? What I mean by this is, what do you do every single day or almost every single day that you know inside and out.

Maybe you garden and always have the juiciest watermelon and brightest tomatoes!

Maybe you create excel sheets, write documents or problem solve in a certain niche.

Don't get me wrong- there are things you enjoy as a hobby and that's ok. Some people like to separate their hobbies from their job or business and I get that.

But maybe you just made a beautiful necklace and if you had simply taken some videos and photos, you could've written down the process or same if you are constantly sewing.

For me, I kind of want my hobby to be part of my job. At least one of my hobbies. I am not saying to try to monetize everything you love, but enjoying what you do to an extent will help motivate you through the tough times.

Burnout is such a problem - especially with moms who are already doing it all - so I don't want you to choose something, go all in and then hate it.

That's not the goal. I also don't want you to wait and sit on ideas forever without making a decision to start.

I simply want you to think about who you are, what you enjoy and what lights you up!

Start there.

Then write down or open up your notes app in your phone and make a list of all of the activities you are good at! EVERYTHING.

Remember, just because you love making jewelry doesn't mean your business has to be selling the jewelry you make.

It could be selling the way you do it. Selling the design process etc.

The possibilities are endless
